Question:
Whats the difference between the P2 and P3 brake controller? Is the P3 worth the xtra money?

As far as function goes, the two controllers are actually pretty similar. The primary difference between the two is that the P3 uses what I would call a more user friendly display. Instead of an error code like what's displayed on the P2, the P3 will actually spell out in plain English what the problem is. The P3 also offers 5 preset storable settings that allow you to dial in your preferred settings for up to 5 different trailers. If you'll only be towing one or two trailers, this feature might not be all that important to you.
Either controller would be an excellent choice.
