Is there a Way to Prevent Thieves from Removing the Curt RV Bumper Hitch part # E-100
Updated 08/11/2014 | Published 08/09/2014 >
Question:
What can be done once this is installed on my RV so that someone just cant unbolt it from the bumper? If I have 4 bikes on the rack and have them locked with cable all someone would have to do is unbolt this. Im I too concerned about theft?

Welding the hitch to your bumper is one solution. However there's a saying about thieves that goes, "a determined thief with enough time and opportunity always gets what he wants."
It's a sad reality, but in your case if a thief had the necessary tools to remove the RV Bumper Hitch part # E-100 and was willing to remove your hitch there wouldn't be much else that would stop him from getting your bikes or rack.
