Question:
Found your install video online for firestone air helper springs... Very cool. Do people use this specifically for more Heavy Duty applications, Towing and heavy loads ect, or for cosmetic value looking lifted ? I have am 05 AWD express and was interested in a kit. But i only use my van for light loads and camping.. But i could see the air lift coming in handy for ground clearance too. How is the rise on these if they are helping aka filled at Freeway speeds, what are the implications ect? Thanks!

The correct Firestone suspension enhancement product (jounce spring or air helper spring) will depend on whether your Chevy Express is a 1500, 2500 or 3500 series and on the number of wheel lugs on your axles. If you'd care to reply with this information, I'd be happy to recommend some specific products for you.
Generally speaking, the air springs or jounce springs are meant to suspend weight carried in the vehicle itself, not for counteracting tongue weight applied to the rear axle of the vehicle from a trailer.
For the air bags, full inflation will tend to raise the suspension height of the vehicle an inch or two, but providing increased ground clearance isn't the purpose of the kit.
