Question:
Hi, I see these airbags fit the 2500 and 3500. Will this kit fit the 1500 or is there another kit that for the 1500? I need something like this to level out the vehicle when towing the occasional trailer. I like this better than stronger leaf springs as it is adjustable. Thank you

Yes, there is a airbag kit available for the 1500 model of your 2005 Chevrolet Express Van. It is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Single Convoluted item # F2423. These air bags will work great to keep your van level and will reduce the stress put on the rear axle when you're towing. They also have the added benefit of not adversely affecting the comfort of your ride when you're not towing.
I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount item # AL74000EZ. Air Lift's premium, wireless, onboard compressor system with Bluetooth allows you to fill your air springs at the touch of a button. The WirelessAIR also automatically maintains pre-set air pressure levels. It lets you adjust 2 air springs independently with the wireless remote control. This allows you to level your van front to back. It also allows you to get side-to-side leveling of off-center loads by inflating each spring with a different amount of air.
