Replacement Strut/Lift Cylinder for a UWS Toolbox

Question:
I get mixed answers as to the length of these lift cylinders. Some say they are 10 in long and some say 11 in long. Which is correct? Could I use either length to replace the ones on my UWS tool box?

If you have a UWS toolbox then strut # UWSLIFTCYLIND is the correct one since it is the only model they have. This unit measures 10 inches from the center of the ball socket on one end to the center of the ball socket on the other end. The overall length is 11 inches when fully extended.
