Question:
Hi, My 2006 Lexus RX400 H already has a 4 pin wiring harness hooked up and working. How do I transform this setup into a 7 Pin setup so I can tow a small trailer? Lance Trailer 1575 Thank you,

Expert Reply:
If the trailer doesn't have brakes all you would need is the 4 to 7-way adapter part # 37185. The 4-way of your 2006 Lexus RX 400h will plug into it and you would be ready to go.
If your trailer has brakes you would instead need the part # ETBC7 and a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out.
