Firestone Air Bags and Compressor for a 2027 Ford F-350 With Truck Camper

Updated 10/30/2026 | Published 10/29/2026

Question:

I have a 2027 Ford F-350 with a slide-in truck camper. The truck handles the weight fine, but it sits a little low in the rear, and the camper is heavier on one side because of the slide-out and equipment. I'm looking for air bags that will help level things out and a compressor that lets me adjust each side separately. What would you recommend?

Hey Scott! I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label # F95FV for your 2027 Ford F-350. These provide up to 7,500 lbs of load-leveling support and can be adjusted from 5 to 150 psi, making them a great choice for keeping your truck level with your slide-in camper.

Then for the compressor you can use the Firestone Air Command # F99VV. This dual path compressor lets you adjust each air bag independently using your smartphone so you get side to side and rear leveling. The compressor supports the full 150 psi of the Red Label air bags, so you won't be limited by the compressor's maximum pressure.

Both systems will work together to keep your truck level without having to manually fill the air bags every time your load changes.

What kind of camper do you have and where are you headed next?

One other question, can I adjust the air bags while we're driving, or do I need to stop and make the adjustments before heading out?

@Scott yes, you can adjust the air bags using the Firestone Air Command # F99VV while you're driving. The smartphone controls let you change the pressure without stopping to connect an air hose, which is especially convenient when you're carrying your truck camper.
