Question:
Im looking at the Aluminum Bengal Trailer Wheel LH322FR for my equipment trailer. Can I reuse my existing 8-lug wheel nuts, or does this aluminum wheel require a specific type of lug nut to mount properly?

Expert Reply:
Hey John, thanks for reaching out. The Aluminum Bengal Trailer Wheel # LH322FR has an 8-lug pattern and uses 9/16"-18 lug nuts. As long as your previous wheels use the same size lug nuts, you can re-use them no problem. The # LH322FR wheel does not require a specific type of lug nut, as long as the size matches. Yes, the wheel is made of aluminum, but each lug hole has steel inserts, to prevent any corrosion from contact from dissimilar metals.
That said, if you do want new lug nuts, I recommend the following:
- DeeMaxx Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - Stainless Steel - 9/16" - Qty 1 # DE35KR
What kind of trailer are the wheels going on?
