Air Bags for 2027 Ford Bronco Towing Trailer

Updated 10/20/2026 | Published 10/19/2026

Question:

We just bought a 2027 Ford Bronco and will be towing our 13-foot Scamp travel trailer. Between the camper and our camping gear, I'd like to add air bags for some extra rear suspension support. The Bronco has its factory suspension. What would you recommend?

Hey Tim, congratulations on the new Bronco! I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F976GR for your 2027 Ford Bronco. These fit non-Raptor models and will give you adjustable rear suspension support to help reduce sag when you're towing your Scamp and carrying camping gear. When you aren't towing, you can run them at the minimum 5 psi so it won't have an adverse impact on ride quality.

I'd also add the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System with EZ Mount # AL25980EZ. This works with the Firestone bags and lets you adjust the pressure using the wireless remote or your phone no matter where you travel.

Where are you headed once you get everything set up for towing?

We're planning to head out to Colorado next summer. The Scamp is pretty light, but we tend to load the Bronco up with camping gear, so I like being able to adjust the air bags depending on what we're carrying.

@Tim that's where the Firestone air bags really come in handy! You can adjust the pressure based on how much gear you're carrying, and the WirelessONE will make that even easier when you're traveling. Enjoy Colorado!
