Question:

Good morning . I have a tankless water heater in our 2022 entegra super C model number GSWH-2 Girard . I was wanting to know if you have a tank water heater that would fit in its place without to much modification ie. electrical or controls? Would like to have just a propane tank water heater . Thanks for any help with this.

Hi Rick!

I have a couple options that I think you will be interested below:

Both of these have 6 gallon tanks, produce up to 12 gallons of water per hour, have an aluminum-clad tank reduces calcium buildup (so no anode rod needed), and are American made. They also match your Girard GSWH-2 pretty closely. From what I could find, the GSWH-2 measures 12-1/2" tall x 12-1/2" wide x 15-1/2" deep, and these Dometic options measure 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep. They are going to be the closest options we carry, so you will need to check the space you have to see if the extra 4" will be able to fit. Oh and both the Dometic options are basically the same, they just have different color doors.

Out of curiosity, why are you wanting to go from tankless to tanked? I think every question I have gotten about water heaters has been people wanting to go from tanked to tankless.
