Question:

Purchased the curt 55567 for my 2014 Toyota fj. Wired everything per directions. I have power at wires going into converter box but not coming out. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hey Jonathan.

Firstly, check your ground wire. Make sure the white ground wire is securely attached to clean, bare metal. No paint, rust, or dirt should be between the connection. Next, we want to verify that we have roughly 12V on the black power wire at the converter, not just on the taillight input wires. Also, check the battery connection, and inline fuse.

If your battery supply, ground, and input signals are all good and still no output from the converter then we may have a defective part # C55567. Let me know what you find.
