How to Transfer an Air Force One Braking System to a New Vehicle?

Published 10/06/2026

Question:

I purchased a Demco Air Force One from you in December of 2024 for a 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL. I’m looking at getting a Ford Bronco and want to know if the Air Force One will transfer to the Ford. Is this possible? Can I get the Bronco instructions? Thank you for your time in this matter. V/r James Millaway

Hey James, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can absolutely transfer your Demco Air Force One # SM99243 from the Jeep Wrangler over to your new Ford Bronco. Rather than trying to remove and reuse all of the vehicle-specific components from the Jeep, I recommend the:

Towed Vehicle Reinstall Kit for Demco Air Force One # SM99226

The # SM99226 gives you the parts needed to install your existing Air Force One system in the Bronco, including new air line, vacuum hose, fittings, breakaway components, and installation hardware. This lets you reuse the main Air Force One components while starting fresh with the consumable installation parts.

There aren't any Bronco-specific instructions included with the kit, you’ll follow Demco’s Air Force One installation instructions for the new vehicle. I have included a link an install video showing the Air Force One being installed on a 2024 Bronco. I imagine you'll find that very helpful.

When will you be picking up the new Bronco?
