What Is The Mounting Hole Spacing On The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent V2110SP-24?

Updated 10/15/2026 | Published 10/05/2026

Question:

What is the spacing of the mounting holes measuring across the vent? The old vent Im replacing had the mounting holes on 16inch parallels. I need a vent that either has the holes on 16inch parallels or has a wide enough flange to cover the old holes.

Hey Frank, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and measured the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2110SP-24 and it sounds like this is going to work for you. The mounting holes are approximately 15-1/8" apart on center, but the mounting flange it 16-1/2" wide overall. So, while the holes will not line up exactly with your old vent, the flange will be wide enough to cover the old holes.

What rig are you servicing?

Thanks for the information. I'll make a few more measurements to be sure but that sounds about right. This is to replace a missing vent on a 1963 Econoline Van that I recently resurrected from a storage yard. So pretty custom and pretty obscure.

16" is pretty standard at least on cargo trailers. The install kit worked very well for me and this was the first time i've ever replaced a trailer vent. it was an easy enough job and the results have held up for 2 PNW winters (ie: very wet) without any leaks, and also survived a few summers in a Nevada desert. Even if your support beams are slightly different spacing, just drill out a new hole on the flange where you need the mounting screws. There's enough of the elastomeric covering that it will seal all the un-used flange holes and keep the whole unit water-tight.
