I need a new plug for a trailer hitch assembly for a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter van. This would be the wiring to attach to a trailer. If I could send a picture that might be helpful. USCAR socket, metal bracket, plug and play adapter.

Hi Judd,

To replace a USCAR 7-way on your 2017 Ram Promaster 3500, you can use the Curt Dual Connection Socket w/ Bracket - 7-Way and 4-Way Flat - Vehicle End Part # C36GJ. This will plug directly into the USCAR wiring on the Promaster and has the metal mounting bracket already included for easy installation. If you need an extension running from the USCAR wiring to the 7-way, we also have the Curt 7-way Trailer Plug Extension part # C86DR that is 20" long. Keep in mind this plug and harness are specifically for USCAR wiring that would only fit factory wiring that came in the Ram not any aftermarket wiring that was added later.
