2024 Jayco Seismic 395 Pin Box Conversion

Updated 10/08/2026 | Published 10/04/2026

Question:

Hello, I have a 2024 Jayco Seismic 395 currently equipped with the Curt Rota-flex king pin. I am looking to switch to the Morryde cushioned pin, however I am having difficulty finding out which frame model I have as there is no stamp. I have the sticker on the side of the mounting wings, but unsure how to decipher it. Happy to attach a photo of the sticker once I get a reply email. Thanks.

Thanks for letting us help Brandon. We can definitely help you find the correct replacement pin box, and you're on the right track. If you can email me a photo of the identification sticker you referred to on the wing of your existing pin box, I can confirm the pin box sub model with the manufacturer. The specific pin box model determines the bolt pattern and which replacements will fit your fifth wheel. I also found that your 2024 Jayco Seismic 395 has a listed GVWR of 20,000 lbs. Please confirm this as well as this is another important consideration when selecting a replacement pin box.

Are you interested in converting to a gooseneck style pin box like the # MR27MV, or are you looking for an upgraded traditional fifth wheel pin box like # MR84VR? What truck and fifth wheel hitch are you currently towing with?

Good afternoon, I appreciate the help. I replied to your email directly with answers to your questions, and a photo of the sticker that is on the Pin box wings. Did you receive it?

@BrandonK Yes thank you for the photo. I was able to determine that your pin box has a Rhino Box bolt pattern. Based on this and the GVWR of your 5th wheel, you would want to go with MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for 18K to 21K Trailers w/ Lippert Rhino # MR55QR.
