Question:
I want to store a distribution hitch, bars and antisway unit in an under-trailer storage box. The shipping weight including the trailer frame pieces and chains was 102 pounds. The bars are 31 inches long. Do you have a 36 under-trailer storage box that can handle the weight of these items?

Hi there John,
The Lippert Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit for RVs # LC236558 is the only storage option we have that looks like it could work for what you’re wanting to store. Each individual bin measures 48 inches long by 16 7/8 inches wide by 9 inches tall, so the 48 inch length gives you plenty of room for your 31 inch bars. Each bin has a 100 pound weight capacity, so if you split the components of your system up into each bin you will be good to go. You’ll also want to make sure none of the components of your weight distribution system are taller than the bin’s 9 inch interior height.
What trailer are you thinking about installing this on?
