I have linked the instrucitons for Reese Strait-Line weight distribution # RP66082 to the right. I have also linked the instructions for the dual-cam sway control portion.
The instructions do cover everything including where the brackets need to go on the frame of the trailer. Basically you will measure from the center of the ball cavity on the trailer coupler back along the frame on each side 30 inches. That is where the center of the bracket will be. The bracket is 5-1/2 inches long. So the frame needs to be clear 27-1/4 inches to 32-3/4 inches back from the center of the ball cavity.
I have also linked a video showing a Strait-Line installation for you.

Hi could you send me instructions on how to set up an RP66082 my trailer has a 6” top mount hitch, I watched a video of installing one but it had a 5” class C and the bars were said to be 9-1/4 from the ground with the hitch head tilted to get this, if my frame is a 6” is it a B class ? What should the bars be from the ground ?

Can I please have the link to install this hitch. I took it off of my old RV because it seems to work much better than the hitch that came with my new RV. Thanks Harlan
