Can Flint Hill Goods Wheel Chock Work with 205-75-R15 Tire

Updated 09/28/2026 | Published 09/24/2026

Question:

Are these wheel chocks designed for a 27.1inch diameter tire? I have 205-75-R15 tires and looking for a wheel chock with best fit for that size.

Hey Christian, the Flint Hill Goods Wheel Chock w/ Eyebolt # FHG36ZR is going to work great with a 27.1 inch diameter tire. While it doesn't have a set tire size range it will work with we know for sure it will work with what you have as that is a very standard tire diameter. What trailer do you have?

Thanks for quick feedback. I plan to use the wheel chocks on two trailers (hence two sets) - a 5x12 utility trailer and a Space Trailer. Both are under 1,000 lbs empty and with same the size tires. I'm currently using plastic wheel chocks, which hold the trailers fine but the chocks get easily blown around with a leaf blower, hence the reason I'm looking for chocks with some weight.

@Christian These wheel chocks are a rubber substance that is heavy and thick, approximately 1 inch thick. I live in an extremely windy area and they never move. They have not moved on any surface that I have used them on such as cement, asphalt, dirt, grass. I also use a leaf blower around the driveway and they do not move. The down side is they are heavy. I took pictures of them in use on my 235-80-16 tires but there was not an option to add the photos.

I have found these to be a best fit for larger commercial size truck tires, when standing upright, however, my Truck uses 225-75R 19.5 inch tires with a diameter of about 32.5". My trailer has 17.5" inch wheels with a slightly smaller tire diameter. I lay these chucks on their side and they match the contour of the tires almost perfectly. They are a very versatile chock and will hold almost anything. They are big enough and strong enough, you are not going to accidently drive over them if you forget they are there.
