Low Profile AC Unit Recommendation for 2021 Lance 1172 Camper

Question:
I have a 2021 lance 1172 slide in camper. I need to upgrade the Dometic 11k btu air conditioner not ducted Im looking for options that are 13.5 k btu or larger, low profile and has a similar rooftop footprint

Hey Michael, welcome back! Based on what you have and what you are looking for the GE Appliances Low Profile HE RV AC unit part # GE86RR is what you want. It's low profile, 13.5k btu, and has a similar footprint as well. This will also be a lot quieter than what you have too. How did you like your current AC unit?

I missed your reply a few days ago and appreciate this follow up message. I'll look into the GE model you suggested. I'm hoping to keep the existing thermostat. As far as the existing AC it functions within specifications, temp drop is ~20°f but struggles on 95°f + days. It is noisy for sure. I do like the auto fan speed function and I've learned the air filters are surprisingly effective. So much so that cleaning on about 4 or 5 day intervals improves performance. Hoping the extra btu will overcome the heat gain on hottest days.
