Question:
I need a class V hitch for my 2001 f250 7.3 diesel truck that will fit a 35 inch tire in the factory spare tire carrier position. Can you please recommend a hitch. Thank you

Hey James! Since none of the custom fit hitches can accommodate that spare size, the only option is the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C99CR (2" receiver) or # C87CR (2-1/2" receiver).
These fit frames up to 44" wide and have 18" brackets that can be cut down as needed. Some additional fabrication may be required to position the hitch around your 35" spare tire.
What will you be using the hitch for?
