Replacement Surge Coupler for Tie Down 125

Question:
Ok so i need to order a direct replacement for my tie down 125 i added a picture, this tie down stabs in to my tongue so it’s all on the same level, it’s bolted on, 12,500lbs rating with disc brakes, why are all these replacements the same bolt on but the entire actuator now sits on top of my trailer tongue then my bell and actuator aren’t on the same plane any more, they don’t make a more direct actuator replacement that stabs and around my trailer tongue then bolts on?? Please help this doesn’t make any sense to me…. These all look hideous on a nice boat trailer, they look ridiculous

Hey David, I totally understand what you mean by not liking the actuators that sit up top but at this time that's the only kind still available as your Tie Down 125 is no longer made. So the best overall option is the Dexter part # T4750620. I know you don't care for the way it looks but this part of the trailer isn't generally one that is scrutinized for looks as often.

Replacement went well. Fit the trailer and the breaks worked well. Took a day to assemble and wire in trailer brakes and running lights

Hey Jameson so i have one last question, the only issue i currently have with tie down 125 is the the solenoid with the blue wire, after looking around it seems tie down/ dexter still makes this replacement? Us that correct for my reverse lock out i believe mine has a blue wire that has been pulled out some how and no longer works, if so works you happen to no what that replacement order number for the The solenoid lockout
