What Frame-Mount Hitch Will Fit My 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 263BHS?

Question:
I am interested on getting a frame mount hitch from yall. I have a 2025 Jayco SLX jay flight 263bhs and I want to add a hitch to it. I am sorry I dont have the measurements of the frame at this time but was hoping I could be steered in the right way. The heaviest thing that I would be pulling is a 13ft with a side by side loaded on the trailer. The combined weight of trailer plus the sxs is close to 2800lbs. So I was hoping again to point me the right way in reference to purchasing a frame mount hitch for it.

Hello David,
Welcome to etrailer, I'm glad you found us!
You are definitely looking in the right direction with the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13702. It has a 5,000 lb towing capacity and a 500 lb tongue weight capacity, so your 2,800 lb trailer and side-by-side setup is well within the hitch's capacity.
We do have confirmed fits for # C13702 on some Jayco campers, but when it comes to these adjustable RV hitches, I always like to double-check the frame measurements before ordering. I don't have the frame schematics for every camper out there. It would be pretty sweet if I did!
You will want to measure from the outside edge of one frame rail straight across to the outside edge of the other. The # C13702 adjusts to fit frames from 18" to 51" wide. I also attached an image showing the dimensions of the mounting bracket so you can compare those measurements to the frame on your Jayco and make sure you have enough room for the brackets to mount properly.
As long as your frame width falls within that 18" to 51" range and the mounting area matches up with the bracket dimensions in the attached image, # C13702 is the hitch I recommend for what you are wanting to do.
What kind of side-by-side are you hauling? Definitely a fun toy to bring out on your adventures!

Ok I sure do appreciate it and I will measure it later today Also, I have a CFMoto Uforce 1000 3-seater. It's a blast to be able to ride and get away from everything.
