Will The Replacement Fan Blade BVC0466 Fit A Thorgren Industries Fan?

Question:

Is this the same mold as the one from Thorgren ind. Just want to make sure it’s an exact fit.

Hi Bradley!

The Replacement Fan Blade for Ventline Ventadomes # BVC0466 has been the correct part when we were asked about the Thorgren in the past, but I do want you to verify something before I can say with 100% certainty. Make sure there is "VD 215" molded/cast into the front center section of the fan blade you currently have. This is a direct replacement for that fan. If you find a different number, let me know what you find and I can see if we have a better option for you. This should be the right one though.

Out of curiosity, what camper/trailer (or other) do you have this in?

There is no ‘VD 215’ cast in this mold. The text on the rear centre reads “THORGREN VALPARAISO INDIANA 6 CCW. Dimensions are 6” diameter, 0.125” D-bore, 6 blades. What confuses me is that the blade appears to spin clockwise when looking up at the vent. But ccw is in the mold. Will this model still pull air the same way? Rv model is 2000 Fleetwood Prowler 824 5B. Thank you for your patience.

@BradleyM Dang, the VD 215 would have confirmed it easily, but it isn't the end of the world. The # BVC0466 fan also has a 6" diameter, has a .125" (1/8") bore for the D-Post, and has 6 blade, so I do still think this is the correct replacement for you. I do have to admit to not knowing which way the fan will spin though. That said, if it is blowing the wrong way, you should just need to reverse the polarity on the motor and it will spin the other way. It should be a fairly easy fix if it does happen. Sorry I don't have a better answer than that.
