Does the WAY Interglobal RV Shower Panel Have a Built-In Flow Restrictor?

Updated 09/15/2026 | Published 09/06/2026

Question:

Do you know if there is a flow restrictor somewhere in the RV Shower Panel - 51 Tall x 5-5/8 Wide x 10 Deep - Black Aluminum Part Number: WAY72YR? I removed the shower head and it is not there so I wonder if there is one that restricts flow to all 3 water outlets in a common place?

Hello Rick,

Thanks for writing in!

I couldn't find anything published that confirms whether there is a flow restrictor inside the RV Shower Panel # WAY72YR, so I went ahead and grabbed one from our warehouse to take a closer look for you.

As you can see from the picture below, everything inside the panel is sealed up pretty well, and I can't take it apart far enough to see if there is a restrictor somewhere inside the valve assembly without potentially damaging it.

So, rather than guess, I am going to reach out to WAY Interglobal directly and have them confirm whether there is a flow restrictor inside the panel and, if so, where it is located. I will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

@RickT Didn't forget about you Rick. It was just brought to my attention that WAY Interglobal was acquired my Lippert, so I just resent my email. I am so very sorry for the delay. The RV/Towing world is like a big game of Monopoly, so far Lippert is winning.
