Hello! Yes, the Brophy Hitch Extender, # hes0, will work with your 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver and your Swagman XTC Platform Bike Rack, # S64670. This extender will move your bike rack an additional 10 inches away from your 2013 Chevrolet Cruze.
If you are looking to gain just a few inches, I suggest that you go with the Brophy Hitch Extender, # hes6. You want to keep the rack as close to the car as possible to avoid added stress on the hitch and this extender only moves the rack an additional 6 inches away from the vehicle.
Please keep in mind that by using a hitch extender you will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 50 percent.
