Roof Rack Recommendation for 2025 Toyota 4Runner with Raised Rails

Question:

I am looking for towers and crossbar system for my 2025 4Runner with factory raised rails. I want the system to utilize the holes on the inside of the rail for the crossbars dont move/slide around. I tried a crossbar system from Amazon, but it cannot be tightened enough to stay in place. Im using a Thule 18 cu ft Motion 3 box on top. Any suggestions? I can go with the yakima towers and bars currently on sale at REI, but that is really expensive.

Hey John, for your 2025 Toyota 4Runner with raised rails I recommend the Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack part number # TH52ZA which attaches to the raised rails by grabbing firmly onto them. They will easily get tightened to the rails to provide a firm and secure attachment. How do you like the Motion box?
