Question:
I have a 2025 Travel lite Rove lite 14BH, Premium with aluminum frame. I understand you can get more ground clearance with a axle flip kit. Can you advise which kit I would need please? Kelly

Hi Kelly!
Everything I found indicates that your 2025 Travel Lite Rove has a standard leaf spring axle, so you would want to use an over under conversion kit also known as a flip kit like you mentioned. You can use a Dexter over under conversion kit on a Lippert axle, but the correct kit depends on your axle diameter. Most 3,500 pound round axles measure 2-3/8 inches in diameter, in which case you would need part # K71-384-00. If your axle measures 3 inches in diameter, which would be unusual for a 3,500 pound axle, then part # K71-385-00 would be the correct kit.
An over under conversion kit, sometimes called an axle flip kit, raises your trailer by moving the leaf springs from above the axle to below it. Despite the name, the axle itself is not actually flipped. This gives you additional ground clearance, which can be really helpful if you are concerned about the trailer sitting too low or scraping on uneven driveways and campsites.
More than likely, you will need the 2-3/8 inch kit, but I would definitely check the axle before ordering so we can make sure you get the right one. Some of these trailers may have used a Dexter torsion axle instead, and in that case you would need an axle lift rather than an over under kit. If you can easily access the axle tag, send me a photo of it and I can help confirm exactly what you have.
What issues have you been having with your Rove that are making you consider an axle flip?

Here is the SN 134503512001 My leaf springs currently sit under the axle. I need to gain ground clearance. I also would like to upgrade the leaf springs as I've been made aware that the factory installed break fairly easy. Thank you
