is there a 2 in receiver to fit a 2024 camry

Hi Albert! The only option for your 2024 Camry is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11576. This is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. Smaller vehicles like the Camry typically only have a Class I option, leaving out the possibility of a 2" receiver. Depending on what you're carrying, you may be able to use an adapter like # e93YR or # e43YR. However, this will reduce the capacity of the hitch by 50%.

I use this on my 2020 Camry to transport my mountain bike. Bike rack is 2 inches and I was using an adapter. This created a drag problem, not too bad but was an issue for me. I'm thinking of cutting off the 1¼ and weld a 2 inch instead. (Still thinking) Hope this helps.

@Salik thanks for sharing your experience! I would stick with the adapter rather than cutting off the receiver and welding on a 2" receiver. That would void the warranty, leave you with an unknown capacity, and could potentially compromise the overall integrity of the hitch, so it isn't a modification I would recommend.

I have a 2020 Camry hybrid. I was advised to get a 2" hitch for my 2-bike bike rack. But only a 1 1/4" hitch would fit the car. The smaller hitch has worked fine. I think a 2" hitch would be overkill for my purpose.

@Vaughn a 1-1/4" hitch can definitely work well for carrying bikes as long as you have a compatible bike rack. I'm glad to hear it has worked well on your Camry.

I installed a 1-1/4" hitch on my Camry for a bike rack (have had two now...Yakima and Kuat). Both have held at least two bikes without any issues.
