Hey Dennis, do you see any brand names on the awning arms anywhere that you could share with us? It doesn't look like what you have is something we carry but with a brand name maybe there is a direction I can point you towards.

Solera Lippert is the sticker on the arms. But on the 300031 mine dont have the metal rod sticking out, mine is just square on the end.

@Dennis If you insert a long hooked crank handle into the drive head and rotate it repeatedly to extend/retract the awning, LC300031 is the correct black replacement drive head. Lippert explicitly says it contains the manual gearbox. If you instead release the awning and physically pull it outward using a pull strap, that's the older spring-tension/pull-style Solera system and LC300031 would not be correct. Lippert treats that as a different drive-head system

@JamesonC.. yes it will work i believe but will have to take out the metal rod that is sticking out on the 300031, because on the end of my awning it does has a square metal rod sticking out to go into the square hole on the gearbox..
