Gen-Y Dominator for 2027 Ford F-350 Towing Multiple Gooseneck Trailers
Updated 09/04/2026 | Published 08/13/2026 >
Question:
I just picked up a 2027 F-350 with the factory puck system. I pull a gooseneck equipment trailer for work and a horse trailer on the weekends. I've been looking at the Gen-Y cushioned couplers but would rather not replace the coupler on both trailers. Would the Dominator give me the cushioning at the truck so I can use it with either trailer?

Hey Jake, congratulations on the new truck! Yes, the Gen-Y Dominator Gooseneck Hitch # GY27TQ is a great choice for your 2027 Ford F-350. The Torsion-Flex design puts the cushioning at the truck instead of the trailer, so you can get the benefit with both your equipment trailer and horse trailer without replacing either coupler.
The # GY27TQ drops directly into your Ford factory puck system and is rated for 25,000 lbs with a 3,500-6,500 lb tongue weight range. It also has integrated safety chain anchors so you won't need a separate set for the factory pucks.
Where do you typically take your horses on the weekends?

Thanks! We usually haul the horses to local shows and trail rides around the area. The equipment trailer gets a lot more miles during the week, so having the cushioning work with both is what really sold me on this setup.
