How To Use Reese Signature Series 5th Wheel Hitch on a Ford F-350 with Factory Prep Package

Question:
Vehicle: 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty I have a Reese Signature 16k 5th wheel hitch in my 05 F350 with factory 5th wheel hitch prep. If I am understanding correctly that hitch will not fit in either a 17 or 19 F350 with the factory 5th wheel hitch prep. Can you please confirm, also is there an adapter kit available to make it fit? Thank you

In order to use a Reese Signature Series 5th Wheel Hitch on a Ford F-350 with Factory Prep Package you'll need the Reese Signature Series Hitch Adapter for Elite Series Bed Rails part # RP58419. The Signature Series Feet are not long enough to lock inside the Elite Series Pucks (Factory Prep Package) which is why you need to replace the Signature Series Feet with the Elite Series Feet using the above Kit.
