which is better for my 2008 Chevy Kodiak C5500 motorhome the RM38RR or the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer?

Hey Rod, welcome back! The Roadmaster Exact Center # RM38RR (under 22k GVWR) or # RM65RR (over 22k GVWR) is the newer and technically more advanced option. However, for your 2008 Chevy Kodiak C5500 motorhome I’d go with the Roadmaster Reflex # RM-RBK5-RSSA.
The biggest difference between the two is that the Exact Center is proactive, meaning it applies force to help keep the steering from moving away from center in the first place. Then the Reflex is reactive, so when something like a crosswind, rut in the road, or passing semi pushes you off center, its spring and damper work to bring the steering back to center.
While the Exact Center does give you a firmer on-center feel, the Reflex has been around for a long time, and we've had a lot of customers who are happy with the design and improvement. Roadmaster actually phased the Reflex out temporarily when the Exact Center came out, but there was enough demand for it that they brought it back. Unless you're specifically trying to get the tightest possible on-center steering feel, I’d save the money and go with the Reflex # RM-RBK5-RSSA.
Did you ever end up adding the Timbren SES or SumoSprings?
