I have a Hyundai Palisade 2022, Limited with 4 pin harness. If I replace it with this product, will it provide all functionality of 7 pin harness? Does it also make the brake and reverse lights to work on the trailer?

Hello Praveen, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C68JR is a great upgrade for your 2022 Hyundai Palisade Limited and gives you a fully functional 7-way connector instead of the factory 4-flat.

You'll have your standard running lights, turn signals, and brake lights, plus the additional circuits for electric trailer brakes, 12V auxiliary power, and reverse lights. The reverse circuit ties into the Palisade's reverse-light wiring, so if your trailer has backup lights, they'll come on when you put the vehicle in reverse.

If your trailer has electric brakes, you'll also need a compatible brake controller to actually operate them. For that, the Curt TriFlex NEXT # C25YV is what I recommend. Worked great for us. We no longer own that vehicle. At the time, I was pulling a 7x14 cargo trailer.

Yes, I used it on a 2023 Santa Cruz and it worked fine. You have to Seal The Connection with dielectric grease and I also use heat shrink to waterproof it, the connector was in the left rear fender well.
