Front Hitch For A 2019 Jayco RedHawks 22C On A Chevy Express 4500 Chassis

Question:

I have a 2019 Jayco RedHawks 22C sitting on a 2029 Chevrolet Express 4500 cutaway. What are my choices for a front hidden mounted class3 hitch with a 2 inch receiver . I will be carrying a 3 wheel e-bike in a platform carrier with a ramp. Thank you

Hi Chris!

While I do have an option for you, there are not going to be an custom fit hitches for your 2019 Jayco RedHawks 22C, even with it being on a Chevy Express 4500 chassis. That said, check out the following hitch:

Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C99CR

This will require welding for the install, but it can be made to fit just about anything. Whenever I run into something like what you are wanting, it's my go to. It has a lot of capacity and a 2" receiver, so it will definitely be able to handle what you need it to. It's just going to take some customizing to get it to fit properly. I know that isn't ideal, but it is your best option.

What kind of e-trike do you have? I have seen a few of these out on the road and they are pretty sweet!
