Hi Daniel!
You’ll need two Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube systems with heat pumps, part # FR67TQ, to replace the Carrier AC units on your 2009 Monaco Cayman. These systems come up with everything you will need to replace all of the components of your current carrier system and installation. It sounds like you may know this but there isn't a good way to reuse any of the old components of your carrier system since the RV AC industry has been transitioning away from R410A equipment to the refrigerant R32, so the older systems are no longer compatible with any of the new systems that use R32. The older parts are also becoming increasingly harder to find.
I really like the Chill Cube for an upgrade like this because that variable speed compressor makes a difference you can actually notice inside the coach. Instead of the AC roaring to life over your head and then shutting off all night, it can ramp up and down based on how much cooling you need. Furrion rates the indoor sound level around 60 decibels, which is in the neighborhood of a normal conversation, and we’ve had customers brag to us about how quiet their Chill Cubes are. That’s a pretty nice change when you’re trying to watch TV, have a conversation, or get some sleep without feeling like the AC is competing with you.
Do you have a furnance in the Monaco?
