Question:

Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs - Ladder Mount - Aluminum 2022 Imagine 2500RL. Will the ladder support the weight in transit without damaging the ladder? I’m concerned about the bouncing effect on the ladder while traveling. Toting one bike. Giant Talon II.

Hey Kelvin, welcome back! This is a great question but as long as you stay under the weight capacity of the ladder bike rack you use and your RV ladder is in good shape (I am sure it is), the you have nothing to worry about. With that said I looked up the weight of your Giant Talon II and it would weigh too much for the # LA-102 but we do have the part # SP501BR which is a similar ladder rack and it does have the needed weight capacity so this would be what you would want. With this rack installed you will not have to worry about the ladder getting damaged.
