How to Secure the Tow Ready Wiring Harness to the Underside of a 2001 Lexus RX 300

Question:
I purchased Tow Ready item #118245 and a Hidden Hitch receiver for my 2001 Lexus RX300. Install was good, but there were nothing in package for securing the Tow Ready harness wiring from the connection point to the tow hitch itself. I am thinking about getting a 4-Flat Universal Mounting Bracket #118149, but that does not address securing the extra long wiring of the harness. What do you recommend? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The 4-Flat Universal Mounting Bracket # 118149 that you referenced would be an excellent bracket to use to secure the 4-way of the Tow Ready Wiring harness part # 118245 to your 2001 Lexus RX300.
What I would recommend you use to secure the wires would be zip ties. You would just want to zip tie the wire harness to the underside of your vehicle avoiding moving parts that could pinch the wire and exhaust components that could melt it.
