Hello Ed,
It looks like you found the correct replacement. Sorry it took so long to get to your question, it is our busy season and we had quite the spike in questions.
Based on the information you provided, the Dexter Trailer Axle with Electric Brakes - E-Z Lube - 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 86-1/2" - 5.2K # 8327816-EB matches your axle's 5,200-pound capacity and 86-1/2 inch hub face measurement.
The one difference is the spring center measurement. The replacement axle does not come with spring seats installed, so you'll need to have a pair of Spring Seats for Typical 5,200 lb to 7,200 lb Round Trailer Axles with 3" Diameter # TRSS300 welded in the correct locations to match your 68-1/4 inch spring center measurement. Because proper spring seat placement is critical to axle alignment and tracking, I recommend having them installed by an experienced welder. Whatever you do, do not cut off the old ones.
If you're replacing the original axle because of damage or wear, this is also a good time to inspect your leaf springs, U-bolts, and suspension hardware to make sure everything is in good condition before putting the trailer back on the road.
Is this axle going back under a camper, equipment trailer, or something else?
