I am looking to replace my tie down engineering actuator. It says tde LP 8500. For random axle boat trailer with disc brakes. 2021 Claredon gtd 205. Thank you for your time and help.

Thanks for the information Jerry! To replace your TDE LP8500 actuator, I recommend the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout item # DX89FR. This coupler is designed to mount on top of a standard 3" wide trailer tongue, is designed for disc brakes, has a 7,500 lbs capacity, and fits a 2" ball.

The slightly lower capacity of the Dexter item # DX89FR will be more than sufficient to handle the weight of your 2021 Glastron GTD 205. The included electric lockout will allow you to back your trailer without having to get and engage the manual lockout if you don't have free backing brakes.
