Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2027 Hyundai Tucson

Updated 08/07/2026 | Published 07/26/2026

Question:

Hi everyone, I just picked up a 2027 Hyundai Tucson and I'm looking to add a hitch. Is there an option available for the 2027?

Hey Jason, congratulations on the new Tucson! We do have a hitch that fits the 2027 model. I recommend the B&W Trailer Hitch Receiver # BW45RV. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver, which gives you a lot of flexibility when choosing hitch-mounted accessories. It also has a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

What are you planning to use the hitch for?

Thanks for the quick reply! A little bit of everything I suppose. I have a bike rack, we do some occasional towing as well. Also might pick up a cargo carrier. Anything you recommend for that?

@JasonM awesome! For a cargo carrier check out our new Benton MoveHitch # B86VR or # B38VR (with cargo net). This is an aluminum 60x24 carrier so it helps cut down on the weight, and it has a 500 lb capacity which should be more than enough for anything you might be hauling. I also recommend adding the locking hitch pin # e43JR to keep it secure. If you will be towing you want to pick up wiring # C28DQ as well. This plug and play harness will give you a 4-way to power your signal lights. I also recommend adding an anti-rattle # e38FV for a solid setup with all of your accessories and ball mount.
