What Sealant Should I Use When Installing a MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent?

I'm upgrading to the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K. Is this the right sealant to use around the new fan?

Hey Brian! Absolutely. After installing the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K over butyl tape # DC38SR, use the Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant # DC94SR over the mounting screws and around the flange to help create a long-lasting waterproof seal.
I'd also give the roof a quick inspection while you're up there since it's a great opportunity to catch any aging sealant elsewhere.
