Hi I’m looking for something to replace a surge brake actuator / coupler the model number is MTP 8500 Marine Trailer Performance.

CVHey Jake, I was able to find info on your MTP 8500 actuator and it is a disc brake surge actuator with an 8,500 lb weight capacity and designed for a 2 inch hitch ball. For a very similar option we have the Demco DA86 part # DM78CV which has basically the same exact specs but has a much easier to use latch system that you will like a lot more than what you have now. What kind of boat do you have?
