Recommended Air Bags for a 2027 Ford F-350 Dually

Updated 07/25/2026 | Published 07/20/2026

Question:

Hi!I have ordered a Ford F350 XLT DRW, 2027, and I plan to order air bags for the rear suspension. I plan to use the truck for a 3-car trailer with a 5-wheel support. The bed will be removed and a 5-wheel support will be installed. What kit can you recommend?

Hey Andrei, congrats on the new truck! To add a set of air bags to your 2027 Ford F-350 dually, I recommend the Firestone item # F95FV. These air bags have a 7,500 lbs capacity that will keep the rear end of your F-350 level when you are towing your trailers. The included mounting brackets are custom fit and all necessary hardware is included for installation.

The brackets included with the Firestone item # F95FV are compatible with in bed hitches, like the factory puck system, aftermarket gooseneck, and aftermarket 5th wheel rails. They attach to the bottom of your F-350's frame. So long as whatever you're removing the bed for doesn't block those locations you won't have to worry about drilling into your frame.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F99VV to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags individually from your phone.

What kind of aftermarket 5th wheel hitch support are you having installed?
