Could Timbren Axle Less Axle Kit FIt 2013 Aliner Classic Camper
Updated 07/20/2026 | Published 07/16/2026 >
Question:
Will these Timbren axles fit my 2013 Aliner classic? I think the oem stock Al-ko axle has worn out. Check the images I’ve uploaded. The wheels have a pretty severe negative camber, which is causing uneven tire wear. Also, the pivot arm spindle seems to be riding way too high, and giving very little suspension movement. The aliner axle mounting plates are on the outside of the frame rails, which seem to be the opposite of what the timbren units call for. If these are not suitable, I’m okay with a Dexter, or other torsion axle. What do you recommend? Thanks

Hey William, thanks for the pictures of your setup. Looks like you have a torsion setup which the Timbren Axle Less kits like the part # A20RS545 work great to replace and maybe it's the picture, but it does look like you have a bit more distance than usual from where the axle attaches to the frame to the hub face. On this Timbren that distance is 4-7/8 inches like you can see in the attached picture. Compare this dimension as well as the others in the picture to what you have and as long as there are no clearance issues this will be a nice upgrade that will fit and work great.
We don't carry any actual torsion axle replacements so this would be only route we could help with. How many miles are on your current axle?
