Question:

We have a customer that needs suspension upgrade on a 2011 Workhorse W62 ? Its been converted to a food truck. The steer axle weight is 5940 lbs and the drive axle weight is 11960. Would the timbren rear suspension part TGMRP30 and the front suspension part TWFRW22. Will these parts work for the weight they have or is there a better product that will work better ?

Hey Juan, thanks for reaching out. Based on the axle weights, I think the Timbren # TWFRW22 is a good choice for the front of your 2011 Workhorse W62. With 5,940 lbs on the steer axle, it's well suited to help reduce front-end sag, body roll, and bottoming out without changing the ride height. Where things get tricky is the rear. Even though the # TGMRP30 has the capacity to handle the weight, Timbren only lists it for the W20 and W42 chassis, not the W62, so I can't recommend it as a confirmed fit.

The W62 uses a heavier-duty rear suspension than the W42, and Timbren hasn't validated a custom rear kit for that chassis. If you're looking to add rear suspension support, I'd recommend reaching out to Timbren directly to see if they have a universal kit they recommend for the W62.

Unfortunately, we don't offer any other rear suspension enhancement for the W62 chassis at this time.

These were a relatively inexpensive and highly effective way to help with front spring sag on our Monaco coach. The ride was noticeably better than before, and raised the suspension about an inch. I later went on to add for airbags to the front suspension but kept these in place as a feel safe.

@KeithN Nice! Glad to hear the Timbrens made such a bit difference. Good call with the air bags too. Thanks for sharing!
