there seems to be a lot of confussion on the internet Regarding the plug and play 7 pin trailer towing harness. for the 2025 hyundai palisade. The Curt 56466 harness looks like what I see under my drivers rear wheel well. But they are not specific if it will fit my 25 palisade. thanks for any onfo.

Hi Don,
The Curt T-Connector part # CU86FR is not a fit for the 2025 Hyundai Palisade, that particular harness is designed to work with the Honda Pilot or Passport. There is not currently a plug and play harness to install a 7-way on your vehicle, so you'll need to install the necessary wiring to get a functioning 7-way.
If you're wanting to add a 7-way to your vehicle to tow a trailer with brakes, you'll need to install trailer wiring like the Curt T-Connector part # C43FV. It is a plug-n-play harness so it will plug directly into your vehicle's wiring without needing to splice. That will give you a 4-way flat, to install a 7-way I recommend using the Universal Brake Installation Kit part # ETBC7. The ETBC7 comes with a connector that the 4-way flat will plug into to give you a functioning 4-way and 7-way along with 10-gauge wire that will run power and the brake signal to the 7-way to make it functional. The ETBC7 will require a bit of splicing but it's currently the only way to add a 7-way to your vehicle since there isn't a plug-in 7-way harness available.
