Question:
I have a 1999 Maxum 2300 sr with drum brakes. I currently have a older titan coupler that was put on. I dont think its big enough, rated at 6000. I need a better coupler and hitch and ball. Currently towing with a 2023 Ford expedition limited with the tow package on it. Any idea would be greatly appreciated

Hey Nick, I would go with the Demco Surge Actuator for drum brakes part # DM72VR to replace what you have. This is a reliable actuator that is easy to use and it has a higher 7,000 lb capacity as well.
Then for a ball mount and hitch ball that would work you have a few options that would work great but it really comes down to how much drop you need to tow your trailer level. For a 2 inch drop part # e99DR, for a 4 inch drop part # e44DR, or for a 6 inch drop # e87DR.
