Recommended Auto-Leveling System for a Travel Trailer

Updated 07/15/2026 | Published 07/09/2026

Question:

I have a 2022 Flagstaff 832 IKRL, dry weight is 9080lb and and cargo weight not to exceed 2176. Th trailer came with the Lippert PSX2 stabilizers. Is there an after market auto leveling system that would work?

There sure is Kevin! It's the Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System item # LC672136. This is an automatic 5-point leveling system, which includes a tongue jack, that actively lifts and levels your trailer in under three minutes. It's a solid upgrade over the Lippert PSX2, which are just a manual stabilizer jacks.

The Ground Control item # LC672136 has a push-button automatic leveling and hitch memory through the included control pad. It stores the exact uncoupling height for hitching back up to your tow vehicle.

Another nice perk if you install the OneControl app you can control your leveling system remotely.

Please note the Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System item # LC672136 tops out at a 10,000 lbs capacity so you'll need to get to or below that once you get to your destination for this system to function properly. I do not have or know of a higher rated system for a travel trailer.

What kind of ground do you typically setup your campsite on?

If the Ground Control item # LC672136 tops out at a 10,000 lbs capacity this system will not work. I'm pushing 11000lbs +.

@KevinE Yeah, you are correct. That's the only option I have or know of. I wanted to throw it out there instead of just telling you no on the hopes that when you gave the capacity specs you weren't using all of it.
