What Type of Guide Ons Normally Are Used on Pontoon Scissor Trailers

Question:

will the part number CE2671 or another one that will work on up and down scissor pontoon trailer all pictures see are bunk style the scissor trailer dosnt have cross bars its 2013 scissor trailer thank you for your time

Hey Kevin, for scissor pontoon trailers usually post style guide ones that mount on inboard side of the toons work the best like the # CE27671 that you referenced. While I don't have a picture of your trailer to compare this to I can show you how these normally install and you can see if that would work on your trailer. These would normally attach to crossmembers on the trailer.

I tried these - weren't worth it. They aren't strong enough to hold up and I took them off. Lasted for about two outings before one got bent from bumping into it trying to load while a bit windy. Dealership carried heavy duty pvc post type and bought 2 sets of those - best thing i ever did, loading is alot easier now.

No - I have a bunk style.
