Which is Better Cushioned Pin Box for Grand Design 303RLS Curt Flex Air or MORryde

We have a Grand Design 303RLS 5th wheel 12K with a Pullrite super glide hitch. Which pin box will work best. The Moryde MR74VR or the Curt LC328492? Thank you.

Hey Doug, this is a really great question. Both the MORryde cushioned pin box part # MR74VR and the Curt Flex Air part # LC328492 work really well but from a performance standpoint the Flex Air is better. It just has more cushioning so it just overall works better. Where the MORryde is better is that it's a simpler solution. There's no air bag pressure to maintain and you wouldn't ever have to worry about air leaks. Not that they are common with Flex Air but it's always a potential risk with any type of air bag.
Are you a "set it and forget" type guy or do you prefer having the best of the best?
If you go with the Flex Air the correct capture plate would be the part # PUL98RR or if the MORryde part # PUL76RR.

I currently use a Morryde pin box with a Pullrite Superglide hitch. We have a 30ft Phoenix and pull it with a 2020 Ram 2500. For us this is an amazing upgrade over the standard pin box. We used to have a B&W hitch and I never could use the slide for tighter turns because of the tailgate. As far as towing with the new pin box and hitch we have towed it across multiple states and it has to be a very sizeable bump to even notice our 5th wheel camper was behind us. I highly recommend the pin box with that hitch. Just make sure you get the right capture plate to use the Pullrite Superglide.
